The author of the site has a BA and a MA in art history from the University of Massachusetts and a PhD from Bryn Mawr College in art history. He is currently a professor of art history at Sweet Briar College. The site is full of information on the different cultures and different points in time where art changed. From ancient Greek art to Islamic art to 20th century art, this site has it all. And not only that, but it also has a page that lists all of the sources given for the information that is on the site, whether it be the history, the artists, or the images. This page also has about 4 pages full of other sites that have linked to this site at one time or another. With this information I believe that this site is reliable.

Ceramics Today: This website is home to a lot of information related to ceramics. It shows many different techniques on pottery and ceramics. It has some background history about ceramics and how it all started, as well as talking about some famous ceramics artists. The site has many different web pages that link to it. There is a page telling about the site and how to contact the editors and owner of the site.
